There was a time in 2008-9 when our region of the world was thrown into a severe housing crisis. Our family struggled with this directly…We had refinanced our home and found ourselves “Underwater”… we owed more on our mortgage than our house was worth in the real estate market. As a mother, I had to keep my best side out and make everyone feel like things were ok, in reality our world was off balance and upside down.
