Little League Elegy

I was asked to be in an exhibtion about team sports one year… My only real connection with organized team sports and my children was soccer and a very small amount of softball. 

I remember how quickly they moved out of the sizes of gear every season, how quickly it all went… The games were long but the seasons were short.

This is a found bat, little league sized. I made the little sapling from a twig I found and some clay. It seems to encapsulate much about the seasons of youth sports for me.
