Foundation

The basic elements of building a physical house are all here in this work. I was distilling my thoughts and conceptions of Home while making this work. Reflecting on the way we raised our family brought me to the basic framework that is illustrated in this piece. 

Stripping things down to the essential components helped me see clearly the important things in my world. The gifts of simplicity and the awareness of what is essential for a safe and nurturing home are iconized in this work.
