I began this piece during the Spring of 2019. I was teaching in a school where my oldest student was 7. We made a beautiful mural of a tree and all of the life in and around it... I was inspired by the wonder and confidence that the students exhibited in creating our project. The limited amount of time and urgency we had in completing the mural gave me an extra boost of wonder towards my own journey. The piece we created together is now installed in the Overfield School in Troy, Ohio. I'm including it following this piece.
