I was working with the sewing dummy format, life size, before I got the opportunity to go to Kohler... this was my favorite piece in that series. I was looking at a lot of Maurice Sendak illustrations and working with a lot of topiary images as well. The headless and armless "dummy" was a fertile ground for me during this period. The title comes from "Jack and Jill"
